This is a remote leadership role for the upstate New York and New England market.

The Home Services Zone Asset & Profit Protection Manager (ZMAP) provides disciplined leadership to the assigned Zone for the purpose of supporting the National Asset & Profit Protection Strategy. The ZMAP is responsible for supporting multiple businesses and locations within an assigned geographic area. The ZMAP is responsible for improving overall profitability of their zone by collaboratively working with unit leadership and any necessary business partners. The ZMAP will ensure consistent execution of Asset & Profit Protection Programs and Processes, provide assessment of key functions within the unit, and work collaboratively to develop and implement solutions. The ZMAP will utilize data sources and analytics to identify and address safety, integrity, dishonesty and margin opportunities.
  • Performs analysis and assessments of Asset & Profit Protection function and operational performance that impacts overall profitability. Provides insight, solutions, and leadership in implementing corrective steps to drive improved performance.
  • Develops and implements specific strategies/tactics to educate and motivate teams to achieve improved profitability.
  • Provides leadership and guidance for safety core processes to ensure that Members and Associates have a safe environment to shop and work (OSHA requirements and General Liability adherence).
  • Reviews trends across multiple businesses and partners to avoid costly mitigation.
  • Provides analytical data, research and action planning in regards to root cause analysis, claim/incident frequency.
  • Partners with Tech Managers to ensure safety/accident investigations are completed. Ensures frequent updates concerning, margin, claim rates, etc.
  • Responsible for management and tracking of company safety reports, including Accident Charge Report (ACR), 5-4-3 Report, Weekly Claims Report, etc.
  • Partners with SHC s liability carrier on all property damage claims to seek resolution.
  • Monitors Risk Console and input safety investigation notes.
  • Partners with businesses on effective Safety Team Meeting minutes and Accident Prevention Plan actions.
  • Organizes and/or conducts all District Safety Training based on real time trends and liability.
  • Develops and communicates district claim trends using company safety reports.
  • Review, monitors and maintains responses to Driver s Alerts in conjunction with the Tech Managers.
  • Conducts Safety Process/Program audits (Flood buzz, Air Lifts, zip ties, blue towel program, etc.) reports and addresses identified issues.
  • Conducts district visits, to conduct profitability Assessment audits and communicates to senior leadership
  • Conducts field Safety ride-along with technicians to assess adherence to policy, applicable laws, and best practices.
  • Shares best practices/opportunities with Region and District Teams to improve overall efficiency and performance.
  • Considers cost, benefits, risks, implications, and impact when making and implementing Asset & Profit Protection strategies and tactics.
  • Works collaboratively with the District Team and other key partners to identify key issues, develop solutions, and implement plans to address areas of opportunity and leverage areas of strength (Accident Prevention Plan).
  • Trains associates on Asset Protection and Safety programs, and validates Shrink & Safety Awareness.
  • Responsible for supporting onboarding and orientation around the APP 5 plays for new hires.
  • Provides a WOW Member Experience for external and internal members.
  • Builds strong relationships within the community and judicial agencies that reflect the SHC Brand.
  • Attends technician town hall meetings and prepares/presents safety materials during meetings.
  • Adapts own behaviors and communication to gain cooperation and commitment in situations where he/she has no direct authority.
  • Conducts and leads AP related investigations, audits and any other duties/tasks related to margin improvement.
  • Assist business units with inventory processes and research
  • Takes personal accountability for his/her own work and maintains high standards.
  • Manages all Critical Incidents in assigned areas for all businesses.

Job Requirements

REQUIRES:
• Strong analytical skills, including ability to interpret raw data into meaningful information
• Experienced with spreadsheet applications (i.e., Excel and Access)
• Ability to work with business partners to provide needed reporting capabilities
• Proficient in computer systems and software applications including Microsoft office applications
• Proficient in telephone etiquette skills
• Ability to work, with minimal supervision, productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations, including maintaining effective interactions with others
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management in a small group setting
