The Head of Service Live will report to the Chief Executive Officer of SHS and be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, leading all of the organization’s operations, building a team, and driving the organization through its next stage of growth. The incumbent will be a proven leader with responsibility for the P&L of the ServiceLive. The leader will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the senior leadership team on product and go-to-market strategies, and will lead all functions of the business including sales, business development, marketing, and product management and development.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and Implement the Organization's Strategic Plan – Evaluate and recalibrate the organization's vision, mission, and value proposition, positioning the company for continued growth. Develop the strategic plan in cooperation with the leadership team by annual operating plans.
  • Expand and Accelerate the Sales Strategy and Execution – Evaluate the opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the company's current “acquire and expand” go-to-market strategy in an effort to shorten the sales cycle and capture additional market share. Serve as the face of the company with customers and industry participants, take part in industry events, and aggressively position the company as a market leader.
  • Refine the Market Fit and Set the Product Strategy – Leverage user research efforts and user metrics to evaluate product positioning and pricing. Determine where the product fits in the market and drive the team to pinpoint target customers and the specific pain points that drive purchasing decisions.
  • Drive Product/Platform Development – Oversee the product team to ensure that all product development, engineering, DevOps, and IT efforts are based upon anticipated customer needs and clear direction from market-focused product management. Ensure company's product development map crisply articulates the company's direction.
  • Reinforce a Culture of Unrivaled Client Success – Continue to improve the company's implementation/training and account services infrastructure (people, processes, culture, and platform) in order to ensure superior execution, maximum use of SHS's platform within its existing customer base, and a continuous flow of success case studies to support the company's marketing efforts.
  • Lead all Financial Management Efforts for the Group – Scale the business to meet growth plans. Work with the finance function to develop the internal financial metrics, departmental budgets, KPI's, and metrics that will best measure progress towards these goals.
Skills and Experience:
  • General Management Skills in a Two-Sided (B2B2C) Market – Proven cross-functional leadership in a growth stage, two-sided solutions/platform company.
  • Evolve a Vision and Strategy – The ability to develop and execute on a vision and growth strategy, while showing the aptitude to nimbly adjust and be malleable to market conditions and customer needs.
  • Expand and Shift Product Offering – Demonstrated ability to gain market share with a current offering, while shifting the emphasis and impact on new offerings. Experience driving an offering from a single solution to a platform model.
  • Ability to Drive Significant Revenue Growth – Proven skills in driving revenue and profits in a B2B2C solutions/platform company by expanding services offerings and consumer awareness as well as cross-selling existing customers.
  • Growth-Stage Leadership – Proven ability to lead effectively in a growth-oriented business (either stand alone or divisional).
  • Build and Develop an Outstanding Management Team – Expertise in attracting, hiring, coaching, and retaining top leadership talent. The ability to inspire and motivate an organization to succeed.
  • Operational and Productivity Improvements – Evidence of ability to drive achievement of operational improvements and targets related to productivity, reliability, and customer/partner satisfaction. Experience establishing effective structure/process and formalizing goals.
  • Develop a Focused Sales and Marketing Oriented Culture – Provide strategic and active leadership in the development of an outstanding market-focused sales, business development, and product team.
