The Vendor Claims Coordinator keeps official corporate records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials. No individual financial metrics: however, they contribute to the overall profitability of the Appliance Builder Distributor business.

Job Requirements

Supports Operations department and warehouse manager as needed
Maintain vendor / supplier Insurance and Licensing requirements / motor vehicle insurance and licensing
Submits vendor rebate claims in a timely manner and follows up on aging balances

Maintain compliance for third party carriers ( i.e, certified payroll, ROLs, Ins) for payment.Provides monthly reporting to business leadersProcesses vendor claim-backs on a monthly basisProcesses vendor invoices, rebates, and other special considerations
Maintain vendor / supplier contracts / agreement / change order processScreens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possibleCreates and accurately maintains database and spreadsheet filesSubmits requests for Vendor Return Authorizations and prepares product and paperwork to complete the returns process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. • Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school desired. • Pro-active, problem solving thinker, able to work independently. • Six months to one year related experience. • Strong computer skills; MS Word, Excel and Outlook. • Excellent communication skills.
