The Strategic Sales Training Manager, HI is responsible for the national training strategy and supporting district implementation of best-in-class training solutions to drive operational excellence for the Home Improvement sales organization. This position is responsible for assessing district training needs, evaluating metrics, reviewing training materials, and observing district activities to identify learning solutions that will meet business needs. Regular and consistent review and follow up support for district training is required to ensure all districts maintain consistent delivery of sales initiatives and training content. This should be facilitated through timely updates of content on SharePoint, regular alerts and communication, bi-weekly SMD meetings, and office visits to observe, evaluate, and support office sales training. This position will lead and drive engagement in district offices as an ambassador for the company's sales strategy and training.

Job Requirements


• Manages the implementation of national training strategy in district offices to drive achievement of key business results and supports the development and execution of training curriculum for new hire sales associates and incumbent
• Establishes and maintains partnerships with Sales Development Managers in all district offices to ensure national deployment of all training content and strategies
• Conducts regular analysis of key performance results and partner with department leadership to drive improvement strategies for district sales offices and customize to meet needs of district offices
• Seeks innovative new methods for improving and implementing training delivery to district offices and researches and implements benchmark training and performance solutions to improve training effectiveness
• Communicates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to identify world class solutions to relevant business challenges
• Provides critical support for deployment of new business strategies, product changes, and programs that are deployed to the district offices in the sales organization
• Leads engagement strategies with in the district offices with all sales leadership teams to drive seamless adoption of new learning processes and objectives
• Oversees and develops Train the Trainer sessions for district offices as a Subject Matter Expert for key sales behaviors that will support district office in achieving KP's
• Builds trusted relationships with leaders across the organization and serves as a key point of contact for the sales training organization
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• Up to 50% travel
• 18 years of age or older (except some locations which may allow for 16 and 17 year olds)

• 5+ years of leadership and training experience
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
• Must demonstrate a strong ability to influence others
• Experience creating and delivering training content
