Job Summary:
The Store Support ASM is responsible for providing an exceptional Member experience by leading the following functions; DC/UPS receiving and staffing, replenishment, merchandise pickup, W2S & Ship from Store processing/shipping, bin checks, return processing, MRNs. Grow sales in footwear. This role is responsible for encouraging appropriate effective balance between Member experience and process functions, driving business results for the Store Support Team, teambuilding, direction and observation of the operational departments and store team in the key areas of process execution, expense management and Member experience. May act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
•Ensures consistency and effectiveness of service for enhancing the Member experience by ensuring execution backroom and merchandise logistics, product unload efficiency, store merchandise flow, and stockrooms optimization.
•Performs supervisory responsibilities, including, but not limited to: making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting, and terminating; conducting performance appraisals; and coaching and developing associates.
•Manages all store processes related to the backroom operations of any Sears retail location.This typically includes such things as Store Shipping, Receiving, Store Stock Repairs, and MRN Process among others. This position assures processes are implemented in stores.
•Facilitates and monitors unloading DC trucks, moves merchandise to appropriate staging locations, and maintains stockrooms in a neat, orderly, and safe manner and executes all new receipt functions. Stock locates any overstock in stockroom.
•Role models execution and leads team in efficient Fill Floor process.
•Ensures that all Store Support Associates use proper merchandise handling and safety equipment and adhere to safety requirements.
•Versed in the benefits of Shop Your Way, the elements of a WOW experience, and able to sell the program to both associates and Members. Ensures that all associates have the proper knowledge and can explain to Members to overall program.
•Adheres to merchandise and inventory protection standards and all shrink procedures and policies.
•Responsible for team leadership of Footwear department to optimize sales and Member experience.
•Facilitates and monitors the setting of non‐promotional, promotional, and seasonal signing, including storewide and event signing; if the assigned team is designated to perform this activity
•Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior management training required
• Knowledge of store merchandising, operations, and retail management practices and procedures
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Effective oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of internal and
external team and Members
• Skills in selecting, assessing, coaching and developing associates, preferably in a retail environment
• Proven ability to manage and mentor team Members, lead and influence cross‐functional working groups and
achieve results
