*Job Description
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing new software product functionality and improving the profitability and performance of existing products utilized within the Online and Integrated Retail experiences for Sears Holdings Corporations and its properties. The Senior Product Manager will improve engagement and convenience of their Online product line by improving overall user/customer experience with existing products/features or developing new product concepts based on industry experience and/or feedback from customers. The Online product line for which the Senior Product Manager will be accountable and drive, is the Product Content Information Management platforms; including product text, images, videos, groupings, and taxonomy.

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, to include specifying market requirements for current and future products by leading market research supported by customers and non-customers. The Senior Product Manager is also responsible in ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals, defining the product strategy and roadmap, identifying prioritized features and corresponding justification, developing the business cases, acting as an expert with respect to the competition, and ensuring that the business requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will have a strong e-Commerce background, solid technical acumen with an understanding of both frontend and backend systems as well as the ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally to develop products that provide members with a seamless Integrated Retail experience. The candidate is expected to be proficient in verbal and written communication and leadership skills. Overall, the individual will be an active part of an organization focused on innovative business architecture design, a seamless customer experience, operational execution, and channel integration.

Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform the product roadmap and strategy, and evolve the business model.

• Responsible for writing product requirements, development of business models, owning the portfolio roadmaps, and defining support requirements and processes.
• Translate operational issues into product requirements and prioritize deliverables by defining ROI of the changes.
• Define key performance metrics for projects and initiatives, and develop reporting solutions as necessary to track results against benchmarks or standards.
• Assess risks and monitor quality of execution and processes.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Finance teams to develop meaningful cost/benefit analysis for projects and initiatives.
• Measure, analyze, and communicate financial results of various initiatives, enhancements, and break-fixes from a pre-vs-post perspective.
• Own end-to-end responsibility for platforms' success while working collaboratively with engineering, marketing, operations, product development team, retail partners and support within and outside the business unit.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and be the platform advocate when interfacing and supporting the engineering teams for matters related to the Business
• Build strong relationships across the company and work closely with individuals to gain an understanding of end to end business processes.
• Effectively manage evolving projects and prioritization changes.
• Contribute to and implement overall corporate business strategies.

• Review member feedback to understand the product experience and drive product improvements, and reduce member pain points.

Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of experience in an e-Commerce operation.
• 3+ years of experience in product management in e-Commerce
• Experience preferred in Product Information Management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile software development process.

• Experience in financial analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to manage and lead complex projects including ability to interpret and communicate detailed technical requirements.
• Ability to gather and analyze business information in a clear and concise manner in order to develop, recommend and implement solutions and product roadmaps.
• Preferred experience with both cross-functional teams and cross-portfolio projects.
• Proficiency with Google docs and Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
