In our POMPANO BEACH premium appliance showroom the Service Technician is responsible for providing timely and quality repairs of customers’ products while maintaining high customer service. This position also requires technicians promote and sell additional products and services. Most of this is done in the Pompano Beach facility.

This position is also responsible for the repair of products in the customer’s home. No individual financial metrics; however, they contribute to the overall profitability of the Appliance Builder Distributor business.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures fast, flexible and expert service to every customer
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
• Meets key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the business
• Provides knowledgeable and courteous repair service
• Researches methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience
• Adheres to the Value Added Services Process (i.e., selling extended warranties, water filters, etc.) by effectively communicating the benefits to the customer
• Mentors other technicians, as applicable
• Monitors the truck maintenance schedule and keeps a clean, organized truck
• Evaluates problems to accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s home
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Certification and /or licenses as required.
• PC skills in MS Office required
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license, good motor vehicle report and be willing to submit to random drug testing, per company policy.
• Maintain the highest level of service standards and work with management in development.

• Outstanding customer service skills.
