The Senior Paralegal is responsible for providing support to in-house counsel on regulatory legal matters and projects related to the automotive, home services, sourcing, and supply chain businesses; and under direction of Transform counsel, independently representing the law department in interactions with other business units, vendors, regulatory agencies and retained counsel in legal matters.

Job Requirements

Track and summarize new laws and regulations, perform legal research, and communicate with regulators, customers, vendors and business partners.

Gather information and file regulatory reports with governmental agencies.

Partner with internal business clients and legal team members to assist with questions, projects and initiatives within the regulatory legal support function.

Organize and manage internal databases to track and report on regulatory issues; Maintains practice area specific files and records.

Prioritize information and communicate the status of projects.

Analyze, summarize, and draft legal documents and factual information in a logical manner easily understood by counsel, business clients and third parties.
Collaborates both within and outside the legal department and communicates effectively with internal associates, outside counsel, business partners, and third parties;

Performs other duties as assigned.


Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved program
5-10 years of regulatory paralegal experience in a corporate environment


Strong legal research skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational, problem solving and project management skills

Customer focused and willingness to support the team on a wide variety of projects

Team player with ability to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally in a complex organizational structure

Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks with limited supervision

Attention to detail

Ability to effectively draft professional correspondence and legal documents
Demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards
Must display independent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with advanced proficiency in Excel and VLOOKUP functions;

Self motivated - independent self starter with little need for coaching from counsel on next steps

Knows when to seek guidance if assignment or personnel involved becomes an obstacle to desired result
