The Sr. Analyst, Online Analytics is responsible for supporting the Optimization and AB testing function of our online sites. They will also be responsible for capturing and analyzing relevant data to provide recommendations on performance and strategy for existing experiences, products and/or projects.

This individual will analyze various data sources to help answer questions related to customer engagement, product conversion and the customer experience to help drive data-driven decision-making. This position owns the entire loop of capturing the right data, analyzing it, providing feedback and recommendations to business owners to help strategic planning and tactical activities to drive customer and member engagement, repeat rates and increase profitable business actions and reduce the unprofitable ones.

The Sr. Analyst, Online Analytics also serves in an internal consulting role for Product, Marketing, Merchant, Operations, Engineering, Project Management and Services teams with the key goal of helping improve Customer Satisfaction to drive sustainable, profitable business growth.

Job Requirements

  • Scope, implement, monitor and analyze the results of AB tests under the leadership of the Optimization Manager
  • Conducts analysis to inform customer/member behavior, insights and strategy and evolve the business model
  • Communicates insights through presentations and spreadsheets in a clear and concise manner to key stakeholders
  • Writes data and analysis requirements, develops reporting and insights, defines support requirements and processes
  • Owns end-to-end responsibility for success while working collaboratively with business owners and support within and outside the business unit.
  • Defines new data initiatives and builds analytics framework to guide decision-making.
  • Ensures clear communication and coordination across the Product, Marketing, Merchant, Operations, Engineering, and Project Management and Services teams.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of online analysis experience (preferably in an eCommerce setting)
  • Experience with site AB testing (ideally with the Adobe tool; Target)
  • Experience with site analytics tools including Adobe Analytics
  • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, Sum if statements, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • SQL and HTML experience is strongly preferred

**Candidates who live in Chicago will be required to commute to the world headquarters in Hoffman Estates, IL ONE DAY per week. Public transit offers a specific group of buses that take commuters directly to the Hoffman Campus from the Rosemont, Blue Line stop**
