The Project Manager II develops and applies Project Management processes in the execution of projects within the Online Business Unit. This position works as the primary contact with Product Management, Engineering, and Merchandising on new project requests. This position works with Copy, Visual Design, Front-end development, Research, and Engineering to estimate and schedule project work based on delivery requested dates, resource capacity and scope. This position provides regular project status updates including revisions to schedules, resource allocation, risks and delivery dates to project teams as well as management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages estimates, scope, resources and timelines, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements for projects with a low to mid-range complexity, size and/or scope.
• Creates project work plans and assigns tasks to team members.
• Facilitates, tracks and monitors projects, activities, milestones, timelines and deliverables
• Actively monitors estimates vs. actuals across all projects.
• Actively monitors estimates vs. actuals across all projects.
• Provides regular project updates and status reports to project team.
• Effectively applies Sears UE methodology and enforces project standards
• Coordinates deliverable reviews internally and with external stakeholders
• Works closely with practice leads and/or managers to ensure a high level of quality
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately.
• Ability to work closely with information architects, Project Managers, visual designers and developers to ensure delivery of a team-driven end product that leads to a top-notch user experience
• Familiarity in the capabilities of information architecture, visual design, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Flash and AJAX-based applications
• Proficiency in industry standard project management software such as Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite of products

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills – in person, written and presentation
• Bachelor's Level Degree
• 2 to 4 years related professional experience.
