The Program Manager, HI Marketing is the subject matter expert responsible for establishing and managing relationships with Marketing Lead Aggregators, 3rd party lead aggregator managed service providers and other business development partnerships supporting the Sears Home Improvement Products (SHIP) Organization. This role is accountable for planning, execution, reconciliation and reporting of all marketing efforts tied to these programs. This position frequently communicates with the Sears Home Improvement Media, Advertising and Marketing business unit teams to strategically plan marketing support against business P&L objectives and offer/messaging/lifecycle priorities. Responsible for Sears Home Improvement Products national marketing relationships and activities with Lead Aggregators, 3rd party lead aggregator managed service providers and other business development partnerships, as assigned, representing an annual investment of over $16 Million.

Job Requirements

  • Strategic planning and forecasting for aggregators and new/emerging relationships, managing vendors, driving new opportunities, coordinating efforts with cross functional teams, driving plan lead flow
  • Create plans and forecasts for existing aggregator and new/emerging relationships
  • Owns Aggregator, 3rd party aggregator-managed services and assigned or initiated business development partnership relationships
  • Drives new opportunities with existing and new lead aggregator vendors
  • Drives new opportunities with complementary partners and emerging channels
  • Works with procurement and legal for all contract negotiations for existing and new vendors
  • Ensures ongoing communication with agencies and Sears/SHS teams to build cross selling opportunities
  • Coordinates with advertising team and aggregators to develop and implement related advertising and marketing communications
  • Maintains detailed analytics regarding each partner through collaboration with marketing analytics team. Reviews and implements optimizations to maximize profitable volume.
  • Maintains strong communication with internal departments, including Member Assist Center (MAC) to ensure program strategies, plans and results are communicated and executed according to plan
  • Manages all budgets, POs and invoice reconciliation for aggregators and cross sell/partners

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • Up to 25% travel
  • 18 years of age or older

  • 5+ years Marketing/Advertising related work experience with increasing responsibility
  • 5+ years agency/vendor management
  • 1+ years experience leading performance-driven lead aggregator and/or partnership marketing initiatives
  • Excellent proactivity, organization and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and insight skills; Ability to determine insights from data that will drive actionable program optimizations
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with competing priorities and attention to detail
  • Strong test/target background with experience in customer lifecycle and cross-sell/upsell marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Budget and financial acumen, basic Accounting and Profit and Loss (P&L) knowledge

  • Master's of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Good working knowledge of cube based reporting programs
