The 3rd Party Process Improvement Ops Manager is responsible for driving operational compliance efforts to attain Innovel's 3PL operating and service goals within a delivery Territory. This position identifies and shares national best practices. This position leads strategic initiatives as developed for national implementation. This position develops and documents new processes or modifies existing processes for Innovel's 3PL business within a geographic territory. This position verifies compliance with company-approved processes, system utilization, and company policy. This position also audits facility performance to establish procedures and guidelines. This position can work out of any of the Market Delivery Operations units within the Territory and will travel to all units within the Territory.

Job Requirements

  • Develops and modifies operating or systems processes
  • Verifies implementation of processes
  • Assesses training opportunities and makes recommendations to Territory Operations Manager and Territory Manager
  • Develops plans and timelines with impacted market or Territory
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures that relate to Federal, State, and local Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) safety requirements
  • Ensures inventory process compliance
  • Shares best practices with other teams
  • Participates in and executes nationally replicated process improvement programs
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Knowledge of Innovel's Supply Chain process flows and familiarity with related systems
  • Working knowledge of High Jump and Descartes systems
  • Knowledge of reports available
