This role supports the company’s objective of monetizing its real estate assets through participating in all aspects of Portfolio Management, with a specific focus on optimizing the process for all asset level transactions. Critical to the execution of asset monetization strategies, this position provides analysis, underwriting, due diligence oversight, process management and reporting within the Portfolio Management team. Overall focus is contributing to the company’s highest and best use strategy to maximize value.

This position’s strategic agenda is to provide consistency and increase efficiency in the execution of transactions, with the goal of increasing transactions.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the due diligence process for dispositions, acquisitions, financing and leasing transactions:

    • Coordinate with third party brokers to obtain opinions of value and oversee the marketing process and reporting of transactions activity.

    • Evaluate pending deals for potential diligence risks and identify mitigation strategies to increase execution probability

    • Prepare analysis and underwriting for dispositions, acquisitions, leasing and development opportunities.

    • Manage transaction process from proposal to closed transaction in a time efficient manner.

  • Work in conjunction with in-house and third party resources to identify, confirm and pursue potential change in use and redevelopment strategies.

  • Provide analytic and reporting support across the entire real estate portfolio, and contributes to asset management plans

  • Drive multiple transactions simultaneously and innovate new strategies to accelerate the pace and volume of transactions.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5-10 years in a role with significant deal making experience.

  • Experience leading projects and coordinating internal and external resources to close transactions.

  • Command of real estate analysis and valuation.

  • Analytical skills, including Excel Proficiency.
