Job Summary

The Online Operations Analyst is responsible for providing data and insights to support the management of daily online operations for and Ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced problem-solver. Able to extract data from systems, perform analyses, identify performance issues and root causes, develop action plans, and drive to successful resolution.
  • Able to work across multiple internal organizations including information technology, contact centers, store operations, logistics and loss prevention to solve problems and complete analyses.
  • Flexible in taking on new assignments and a desire to learn all aspects of operations in an online business

Job Requirements


Participates in proactive monitoring and managing of daily operations for the online business
  • Develop tools and operational processes to monitor performance on a daily basis
  • Identify trends and exceptions that would indicate operational issues that could negatively impact members or the business
  • Perform deep dive investigations and root cause analyses where negative trends or exceptions are observed.
  • Help to develop and manage containment plans, corrective action plans, and prevention plans when problems are identified
  • Work with Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Inventory, and Retail Operations to coordinate actions and resolutions of operational issues
  • Conduct fact based analyses to identify opportunities to improve our systems and fulfillment and shipping processes to enhance member experience while balancing (or reducing) operating cost.
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education Requirements

  • Familiarity with supply chain practices and operations management.
  • Analytic: Must have the ability to collect & analyze data, extract information from multiple sources including databases (SQL), then use that information to gain insights & draw conclusions to solve problems and drive operational improvements
  • Working knowledge of information systems. Must understand system architecture, data flows, and program logic in order to diagnose operational issues and drive improvements. Some software development background is a plus.
  • Good business sense and the understanding of sales, operations, and finance. Must have the desire and take the initiative to expand knowledge and skills in new areas where they may not have experience.
  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or similar field
