The Marketing Senior Manager will be our connection to, in and for the communities in the Puerto Rico & USVI markets. This person should be engrained in the culture and be connected to the people and places of these markets. Must be curious, courageous, scrappy and creative in approach. This role will be reponsible for developing strategies and executing SYW initiatives to achieve Market and store level goals whlie analyzing the Market and competition to identify further opportunities.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Define the positioning and role that each of our brands and stores (Sears, Kmart, and Shop Your Way) will play in their communities and with our Shop Your Way members.
• Work with Market team to develop integrated activation and engagement plans including events by store with support from headquarters Market team.
• Responsible for growing, engaging and delighting the Shop Your Way member community and promoting the partners, products and services offered by the program.
• Partner with Member Services Lead to execute marketing programs including events and activations at the store and market level weekly.
• Partner with Business Development Director, Commercial Sales District Manager Auto Center District Manager, Homes Services General Manager and Financial Services representative to develop marketing programs that support member/community engagement across SHC units and SYW ecosystem.
• Develop marketing programs in support of market key strategic initiatives.
• Analyze program results and present recommendations for changes in strategy/execution.
• Communicate member and marketplace needs and insights to Headquarters team.
• Communicate successes and share learnings to enhance best practices.
• Relentlessly identify local engagement opportunities, spanning sports media, arts / entertainment, etc. Own the Puerto Rico & USVI calendar.
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

Job Requirements:
• Ability to review and analyze data, member insights and knowledge of local community as key inputs into communication plans.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Leads and participates in meetings as needed. Must contribute in Markets weekly marketing meetings to share status, learnings and insights.
• Writes clearly and informatively, will need to provide update to headquarters team weekly. Including communication around changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget.
• Project Management skills and ability to both develop and execute project plans a must. With support from broader team as needed.
• Uses time efficiently, moves fast, shows results; increased member engagement, increased sales and margin.
• Takes independent actions and calculated risks, looks for and takes advantage of opportunities. Asks for and offers help when needed.
• Understands business implications of decisions, displays orientation to profitability, demonstrates knowledge of market and competition, and aligns work with strategic goals.
• Fluent in Spanish and English languages.
