This role will lead the transformation of SYW s Data and Analytics operating model and build a world class customer centric data science organization. The role will drive value through designing and implementing high quality analysis, insights and predictive modeling to meet emerging B2B an B2B2C data services needs. You will build the firm s machine learning and AI capabilities as business evolves. Interactions with business leaders, infrastructure, product and our technology teams to ensure alignment on process, roles and the talent required to deliver highly optimized solutions and services.

Job Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing and interatively refining the overall Data and Analytics operating model and playbook.
• Design the teams consulting and engagement processes and service model in support of the operating B2B an B2B2C needs for internal and external clients.
• Define and implementation a statistical and analytical framework leading to establishing a data driven, automated ML/AI driven model for the enterprise.
• Develop and drive clear, iterative roadmaps in a highly matrixed environment across the overall enterprise and data value chains. • Leverage knowledge of software development best practices in a highly interconnected and iterative environment, applying recommendations to team organization and roadmap development to drive efficiency and transparency.
• Develop a view of ROI/Business value created considering resource and expenses against business value created. • Be a center of excellence in clarity of alignment and communication to all levels of the organization.
• Provide guidance and support to big data ETL engineer on performance and facilitate ETL performance tuning
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Minimum of 10-20 years of total work experience in a combination of technology development, program management, business analysis, and strategy.
• "Minimum of 10 years of team leadership experience and cross-functional influence. Experience in change management consulting or organizational transformation."
• Excellent analysis and critical reasoning skills with a strong focus on execution.
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinning, such as classification, recommendation systems, optimization, and deep learning.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with developing machine learning models, framework and practices at scale from prototype to production.
• "Strong knowledge of a scientific computing language (Python, etc.) and SQL. Strong knowledge of statistics (clustering, regression, etc.)"
• Self-directed, well organized and have good follow-up skills with strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate a passion for driving frictionless use of data to solve new business problems.
• Proactive problem solver who operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Appetite to work with the teams to dig into data, processes, issues, to identify root-cause issues and remedies is a very desirable strength.
