Job Summary: .
  • The analyst position is responsible for working with the other apparel analysts (both formats of Sears and Kmart) to create orders and record creations in the IDRP system along with analysis at the store level
  • This position is responsible for working with the apparel team and completing analysis to determine the best stores to send product to for end of life items, and creating the orders in the IDRP system. Create orders and record creations for initial set orders in the IDRP system. Monitoring and validating orders, record creations by store will be crucial in addition to effectively communicating back to the analyst team.
  • The individual will effectively manage and be responsible for placement and or replenishment of a designated category with guidance from business analyst to maintain in stock standards while achieving planned turnover and revenue growth.
  • Position will be responsible for reviewing sales and receipt forecasts for various lines of business and documenting findings and reporting on follow-up issues.
  • Individual will be responsible to research issues as they are uncovered by the business analysts and decision making on next steps or solutions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the appropriate tools and levers to optimize in-stock and minimize unproductive inventories. Maintains
  • collaborative partnership with stores to maintain proper inventory levels to support profitable sales and communicates key strategies and
  • initiatives to store partners.
  • Leads others to adapt processes, solutions, successes, ideas and participates in continuous teaching about system capabilities and supply chain processes
  • Analyzes sales and stock levels to ensure that reorder recommendations made by the replenishment system reflect sales trend and presentation
  • standards.
  • Keeps the Analyst/ Inventory Manager/Allocation Manager/Director updated on current projects/problems

Job Requirements

Job RequirementsBachelors DegreeRequired Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Supply Chain Related Field or fours years related experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of desktop applications and Windows based programs such as Excel including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, Word, Powerpoint proficiency at Advanced Level.
  • Intermediate knowledge/certification on Supply Chain/Inventory
  • Market Knowledge
  • Detail Oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Highly flexible and able to work well under pressure
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of Inventory Metrics such as in stock, turnover, total supply chain at cost
  • Clear communication skills and team oriented
