The help desk specialist is responsible for the training support and documentation for a portion of Sears Franchise Business' (SFB) proprietary systems.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the department including copying and filing
• Develops a good understanding of products
• Communicate the training schedule with customers and maintain the training schedule
• Develops the customer training requirement plan according to the customer feedback
• Facilitate meetings, trainings, and distance learning support
• Provide training on Sears Franchise Business proprietary systems
• Provide support of software and general computer questions
• Provides training reception/incoming calls
• Support the implementation and the transition to new company software
• Responsible for building the business relationship with internal customer training primes
• Processes and directs incoming email and fax messages or memos
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
• Extensive experience and aptitude with computers and software including Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong customer management skills, with a good grasp of learning styles
• Ability to be self-motivated, and willing to take initiative and work hard to get the job done
• Strong problem solving and assessment skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to be flexible, and to maintain a can-do attitude
• Strong communication skills, with a passion for developing customer relations
• Experience with phone and desktop support
