This position owns Strategy planning, analysis, and project management for the LIVE WELL journey for Sears, Kmart and SYW. The Member Journey Retail Operating Model is one of Sears Holdings’ top transformational priorities and through this framework the Health & Wellness team develops and accelerates key cross-functional initiatives to increasingly serve Shop Your Way members at Sears and Kmart and deliver results for SHC.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive the project management function for 3-5 key initiatives for the LIVE WELL member journey.
  • Responsible for the implementation, execution, control and completion of key projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans including tasks, owners, timelines, and dependencies in order to monitor and track project progress. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accountability and execution. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs. Provide updates on status of all projects as needed.
  • Identify critical path to completion, project risks, and proactively problem solve with immediate team members and relevant internal stakeholders to course correct.
  • Measure and monitor project performance vs. KPI's. Report out findings to cross-functional teams and follow-up accordingly. Evaluate project opportunities and create plan of action for improvement.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, with an emphasis on driving standardization and repeatable processes enabling initiatives to scale from test to chain.

Job Requirements:
  • 2years of experience in a project management role preferred
  • Experience developing project plans for large-scale initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects with a great attention to detail.
  • Proven organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Great energy and someone who drives results!

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of SHC's merchant processes and reporting tools.
  • Strong business acumen including ability to evaluate project impact and project health.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to organize and direct the quality of his/her work amidst the demands of multiple projects and demanding clients
  • Excellent Excel skills, and strong aptitude with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and any additional project management tools or software is preferred.
  • Superior written and oral communications skills, including ability to develop and deliver effective presentations several levels up.
  • High-level of motivation and self-direction, including the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Familiarity with retail, loyalty programs, omni-channel marketing, store operations
