The Financial Services organization caters to over 30 million Sears card members and also provides a menu of other financial products to meet the needs of Sears Holdings’ customers. Among those products is Layaway. Financial Services is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to lead the product management of layaway across Sears Holdings formats and channels. As a vital member of the Financial Services organization, the Director of Layaway will work cross-functionally with business units, store operations, marketing and legal to continuously coordinate activities and expand the use of layaway across formats and channels. In addition, he/she will ensure overall coordination of layaway support activities within Financial Services. The Director of Layaway Product Management will leverage various sources of information about the Layaway customer and buying habits by market to cater to this customer base while optimizing return on investment.

Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Partner with various stakeholders throughout the company to expand and promote the use Layaway.
o Coordinate all layaway activities across functional areas (within and outside Financial Services organization)
o Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Store Operations to plan and execute flawlessly strategies and tactics
o Review and initiate when necessary, market research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new directions.
o Leverage analytic findings to refine and optimize offerings
o Work closely with the Analytics team to establish and track performance metrics.

REQUIREMENTS:
o Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Must be adept at forging and nurturing relationships across business lines
o Strong communication and presentation skills
o Fluent in Excel, Power Point and other Windows applications
o Analytic with ability to think and lead strategically, but with a keen attention to detail
o Bachelors in Business, MBA preferred
