The Business Analytics Manger is responsible for building the data analytics and reporting, and support services structure to support for Sears Home & Business Franchises business while providing strategic initiative structure to business. Sears Home & Business Franchises generates 80M top line revenue for all SHBF verticals and this position would support the external & internal stakeholders by providing accurate data analysis for 165 franchisees and business leaders.

The Business Analytics Manager is responsible for managing the integration requirements, process change management, and the deployment and support of an enterprise wide operating platform customer profile service data collection & reporting for across multiple disciplines & verticals.

This position is responsible for the coordinating a cross functional team in defining requirements,
solution design, and identifying process improvements for business processes which involve customer information and to define performance measurements for franchise system.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads the cross-functional teams from the planning through implementation process in assessing current r business information systems, identifying common processes, and identifying new or potential opportunities to streamline data collection & analytics to use for performance measurements of Franchise system.
  • Leads detailed discussions on processes, data integration technology, data collection, design requirements and data analytics across all verticals
  • Identifies integration processes and provides requirements to the Integration team.
  • Leads, drives, and supports change that creates unified data collection processes through cross collaboration with other functional areas
  • Creates and maintains proper documentation for all related business processes and requirements for the data collection & analytics.
  • Identifies gaps and opportunities within the processes to create and/or achieve functional areas business goals, business models and Key Performances Indicators to drive growth
  • Assists in developing the strategic data integration direction and communications roadmap for all strategic initiatives serving as linchpin for all new initiatives
  • Evaluates and recommends solutions while manages demand planning, performance management, external relationships & franchise partners for current & future support service initiatives (ie Service Titan)
  • Presents reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree from four year college or university
  • 5-10 Years of related experience
  • Proven history of being able to influence business/ IT peers and, Franchise Owners & leadership management in the decision making and business case development processes
  • Demonstrated communication skills: Ability to summarize information and succinctly communicate verbally and in writing; Strong process and requirements documentation skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and focus
