As a vital member of a specific business unit, the Business Analyst is responsible for developing insights from data and translating those insights into initiatives that drive business impact for Sears Holdings Corporation. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to (a) gather and analyze data and generate insights from that data, (b) use those insights as the basis for developing new corporate initiatives, and (c) oversee change initiatives within the organization. The Business Analyst will partner with teams across the organization, leveraging the work of others and extending that work where necessary. It is expected that they will contribute, and in some cases lead their projects. Specific Business Analyst opportunities are currently available in multiple business units across Sears Holdings Corporation.

Job Requirements


Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with departments across the organization to develop insights based on data.
  • Coordinates with Leaders in business units to identify and prioritize areas for analysis, gathering data and developing thoughtful, robust business analyses as well as analyzing issues, developing insights and formulating data-based hypothesis.
  • Prepares recommendations for financial business cases and presentations for senior management.
  • Leads small groups of individuals in support of specific initiatives.

Education Experience: Bachelor's Level Degree

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related major
