The Marketing Analyst will be a results-driven, innovative thinker who helps the MP&A team with tracking and reporting Online Marketing Channels performance, participate in planning efforts, help in completing analyses that result in insights into channel
performance, contribute to driving growth and optimization of customer
acquisition and retention programs. The analyst should be comfortable working
with Online Marketing data to create regular reports of channel performance,
ad-hoc reports, and complete specific analyses using Online Marketing metrics
and financial data

The ideal candidate would be someone who has
strong problem solving and data analysis skills with experience working on fast
turnaround results oriented analyses

1) Perform forward looking analysis of Marketing Channel performance to drive insights
2) Execute cross channel analysis to help channel managers improve channel efficiencies
3) Coordinate analysis projects with Omniture/ Web Analytics and other teams to produce actionable insights

- Own daily, weekly and ad-hoc Online Channels performance reporting
- Be responsible for analysis efforts that contribute to driving growth and optimization of customer acquisition and retention programs

Reporting, Analysis, and Optimization

-Analyze Marketing Channel performance (SEO, Paid Search, Email, Display, Affiliates, Datafeeds, etc.)
- Execute analyses that can generate valuable insights and improve performance – cross channel analysis, profitability analysis
- Help with identifying key performance metrics, building dashboards, contributing to key insights and ensuring data driven actions to improve the business
- Work with the web-analytics team to identify ways to improve business reporting capabilities Cross Channel Attribution Analysis

- Lead analytics for Marketing channels planning efforts Support channel leads in the planning process
- Serve as liaison to finance and the Business Units on Marketing planning and forecasting
- Owning all stages of marketing planning, budgeting and forecasting processes

Job Requirements

Preferred Education & Experience:

of 3-5 years of experience in Analytical roles - direct experience in Retail Marketing
Analytics, customer analytics, and Financial analysis
Bachelors in Statistics, Marketing or Finance
Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, Excel, and exposure to financial planning and analysis
Experience in web analytics (Omniture, BI tools) is a plus
High level of business acumen, with critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and demonstrated written communications skills
Functional knowledge of interactive marketing and onsite channel tactics such as paid search, display advertising, email marketing, affiliates and social media
