The Sr Dir, Human Resources is responsible for leading HR initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with multiple business Vice Presidents, senior leadership teams, and the VP of Human Resources to ensure successful implementation of broad business and change initiatives. This role is responsible for integrating all human resources functional initiatives and objectives with the broader business plan and is a primary leader for driving successful change management within the organization.

Primarily influences across the assigned organization. Has a small team to support initiative execution.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Serves as an integrated team member within business team. Partners and consults with business senior leaders to ensure the development and implementation of a broad, well-balanced and effective human resources business strategy.
• Provides leadership and guidance for the successful implementation of business strategies. Drives change management/process focus and embed change management as a core competency within the organization.
• Proactively drives People/HR practices to build a diverse, high performance team.
• Ensures effective deployment of people strategies, including recruiting, performance management, and talent management. • Provides leadership for successful selection, coaching, and development of business leaders within organization.
• Offers leadership and influence for building a diverse, high potential leadership base and develop strong levels of awareness and understanding around diversity as an enabler of high performance.
• Mobilizes HR specialty areas (compensation, training, organization development, recruiting, etc) when needed to address business issues.
• Ensures appropriate development of and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Leads key HR projects nationwide and/or direct project teams.
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.
