The Manager, SEO is responsible for developing SEO strategies, executing SEO initiatives and working with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. This position is responsible for ensuring that pages created follow SEO best practices, conducting keyword analysis, and reporting on SEO Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). This position works directly with agencies to execute specific projects such as technical reviews, content updates, etc.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manages tactical SEO initiatives including technical optimizations, keyword analysis, content development, site auditing and competitive analysis. Consults and provides recommendations to cross-functional teams to ensure pages or experiences are optimized for search engines.
  • Defines metrics and measures for SEO success and be able to report results to show management/leadership SEO s performance as a marketing channel when doing weekly business overviews.
  • Creates and manages a strong SEO strategy in order to drive qualified incremental
  • Develops all deliverable creation so that the deliverables are in line with the overarching SEO strategy that will drive incremental traffic/sales/revenue.
  • Owns and manages the relationship with the vendors; not limited to RFP's, SOW amendments, etc., as vendors support the SEO team in driving SEO strategies and initiatives and SOW/Amendments are necessary to ensure the scope of work being performed is in line with the overall SEO strategy.
  • Manages digital agencies that support organic search. Provides direction & vision to these digital agencies and delegates responsibilities to these vendors to execute on vision & strategy.
  • Analyzes Omniture/Adobe Analytics data to gather SEO Insights and report on traffic, conversion and revenue.
  • Evangelizes SEO throughout the organization.
  • Leverages SEO Platform insights, e.g. BrightEdge, Conductor, to develop strategies or tactics to improve organic search performance.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO as an in-house specialist or at an SEO agency
  • Experience working directly on supporting an Enterprise website (1 M+ pages)
  • Familiarity with react and/or JavaScript optimization
  • Deep working knowledge of technical SEO
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, must be comfortable with presenting to stakeholders
  • Proficient in utilizing Adobe Analytics to gather SEO Insights
  • Proven experience managing projects to completion and agency/vendor management
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong working knowledge in utilization of Google Search Console
  • Passion for reading and staying up to date with latest Search Engine industry news
