  • Responsible for supporting fact-based decision-making for a $1B businesses with over 4M service repair calls, 1.2M installations, and 5.5M home deliveries annually, and supporting data-based decision-making for a business that generates over 62M marketing communications.
  • Lead national capacity planning, advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Analyze the performance, price optimization, product development and targeting for the In-Home repair businesses.
  • Create quarterly and annual operational plans and reports to measure against goals and perform advanced analytical modeling to optimize operational performance.
  • Manage Sales and Operational planning for reconciling supply vs demand for In-Home Services nationally.
  • Increase profitability by optimizing resourcing options (W2 vs 1099) and create pricing tiers based on cost to serve model.
  • Manage targeted marketing programs by identifying target markets, and strategizing on new concepts in each market/specific to each market, to optimize response, revenue, and profit performance across Home Service products, marketing media, and creative venues.
  • Design analytic test approaches with recommended sample sizes, and analyze results from test initiatives to prove success of marketing strategies and targeted plans for each market.
  • Develop analytic tools to evaluate and manage sales and performance of Home Service products and train the field teams on how to use and understand the output.
  • Analyze behavioral, demographic, and other information to help identify opportunities by studying past and current performance numbers and for revenue growth, cost-reduction, and other components of profit optimization and use the output to develop plans for future capacity and marketing strategies.
  • Develop reports and perform analysis that highlights business and operational performance to determine the success (or lack of) plans used to determine staffing/capacity and plan to drive improved staffing/capacity.
  • Perform supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.

Job Requirements


Requirements:

Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Operations Management, Industrial Administration, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in business analysis, strategy and planning, data modelling, and forecasting to support sales and operations within the home services domain. Or, alternatively, Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Operations Management, Industrial Administration, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in business analysis, strategy and planning, data modelling, and forecasting to support sales and operations within the home services domain.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing business analytics and data management within the home services industry using SQL (Teradata, Snowflake, and BigQuery) to produce concise conclusions from raw data and drive solutions according to business requirements; DE performing sales and operations planning, including demand forecasting using time series modelling (R and SAS) and capacity planning to meet forecasted demand and desired service levels; DE performing regression analysis (MATLAB), optimization techniques (Gurobi) and simulation models to run business scenarios (Monte Carlo) and analyze different outcomes to enable decision making; DE performing data modelling, analytics and reporting (Tableau, Sigma, and Excel) that assist in operational improvement of key business KPIs; and DE performing field service management, including scheduling, routing and dispatch to assist in in effectively managing a national field workforce with cost minimization techniques.
