Paid Media Manager-Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth via paid media channels to Sears Home Services websites. As a leader in the home services space, Sears offers an array of products and services across multiple domains, and this position works across lead generation and ecommerce websites catering to the customer lifecycle to manage daily paid search operations.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manages daily operations within Paid Search, Shopping, Social, YouTube, and other third party media platforms, building and holding to best practices across each platform, ensuring catalog feed optimization on Google, Amazon, and other sites
• Manages marketing campaign development, bid strategies, optimization and channel management and owns campaign development, bid strategies, and channel management
• Develops scenarios and conducts A/B testing on a weekly cadence, analyzing results and optimizing to them
• Researches and identifies new customer segments for targeted search campaigns, and uses third party tools and analysis to build competitor landscape and drive paid strategies
• Manages, organizes, and presents Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting across Google and Bing, owning relationship with representatives from each
• Grows contactable database by acquiring new contactable leads across owned, earned, and paid channels, and reactivates existing leads without opt-in or recent engagement, improve deliverability via email hygiene and email service provider-specific best practices, and improve engagement in between transactions via value-add content
• Builds customer audience lists (first person to similar/lookalike audiences,) and sets up remarketing triggers aligning with UX, email, business-to-business (B2B,) and other channels to retain and build lifetime value of customers
• Launches, tests, and manages programmatic campaigns across various networks, working with creative and UX teams to align landing pages, ad formats, and offers across campaigns. Reviews weekly results with business to determine adjustments needed
• Directs, informs, influences, and executes Paid Search strategies driven by business strategies and goal acquisition costs, and allocates budgets and adjust regularly against forecast and actuals for paid media across channels
• Develops and manages, in partnership with Engineering, campaign automation across products and capacity/demand via Google Scripts and Application Programming Interface (APIs)

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in Paid Search operations, with experience in cross-channel marketing planning and activation, with a strong understanding of campaign automation connecting APIs and scripts for smoother marketing approaches
• Experience working with digital performance media channels, including Search Engine Marketing (SEM,) Social, Video, and Programmatic Display platforms, tactics, and data strategy
• Experience using data, customer insights, and analytics to make decisions, recommendations, and hypothesis about customer behaviors
• Experience using Google Ads, Bing Adcenter, Web Analytics (Google or Adobe,) and MSOffice products, including Excel
• Excellent analytical skills, with a strong understanding of performance KPIs and ability to understand the data and present performance results and recommendations based on the data
• Ability to build and maintain strong parternships with third party representatives at organizations such as Google and Bing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate with others to produce results
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
