The Lands' End Consultative Sales Associate is responsible for enhancing the experience of customers and driving sales by providing proactive consultative sales assistance and support to customers for Lands End In-store and Direct (website and catalog) product, setting the Lands End sales floor to new plan-o-grams, maintaining merchandise standards, facilitating the efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor, ensuring the sales floor is ready all day and maintaining price and inventory integrity.

Job Requirements

• Takes ownership for enhancing the customer experience, assisting customers by utilizing approved consultative selling practices and guidelines to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Meets or exceeds associate performance standards consistently
• Maintains current knowledge of Lands' End merchandise lines, product features, benefits and availability to respond to customer needs
• Understands Lands End website navigation and catalog order processes and leverages these options for customer solutions when the product is not available in the store
• Processes customer transactions in the Point of Sale system, including sales, returns, and exchanges in according with authorized procedures
• Optimizes credit, gift card, Shop Your Way Rewards and multi-channel opportunities
• Partners with other selling and sales support associates and cashiers to provide superior customer service
• Sets and maintains sales floor to national merchandising and presentation standards
• Sets plan-o-grams, end caps, bulk stacks, pad resets and typicals
• Performs promotional ad setup and take down without error or omission
• Performs accurate count updates and inventory adjustments
• Prints, sorts and sets non-promotional, promotional and seasonal signing as designated by the Softlines or Lands' End Assistant Store Manager
• Maintains a neat and orderly stock room to facilitate identification of merchandise to be brought to the sales floor
• Utilizes pull-list and fill-floor processes to replenish sales floor
• Stocks sales floor throughout the day for maximum in-stock condition
• Adheres to merchandise protection standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Associates under the age of 18, when performing replenishment tasks, picks merchandise up only from designated zone/staging area(s); engages backroom associates if no merchandise is staged and follows all guidelines for minors restrictions as outlined in our company policies

• Basic reading, arithmetic, and writing and oral communication skills
• Basic Internet navigation skills
• Associates under the age of 18 -- prohibited from using freight elevators, ladders, compactors, balers, or hazardous or similar equipment, or performing backroom functions

• Sales experience
• Knowledge of offered products and services

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 16 years of age or older
