The Director of Lease Administration is responsible for directing all activities associated with the documentation and management of the organization s real estate portfolio. This position oversees the entire documentation process that follows company policy while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, and policies and processes that govern the lease. This position will provide management, coordination and administrative oversight of the Real Estate Lease Administration team and Lease Information Systems.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for quality control of all lease administration related process flow, lease abstraction, data accuracy, management reporting, and driving process improvements from a lease administration perspective, including preparing, implementing, and auditing policies and procedures.
• Responsible for lease administration, including proper documentation of all leases and lease-related correspondence; accurate, efficient, and complete lease abstraction in the lease management database environment, data management and tracking and of approximately 500 leases or 430 properties.
• Develops creative solutions and reporting to manage the Company s lease portfolio in Real Estate Information Systems.
• Oversees and audits lease data in Real Estate Information Systems and other data sources.
• Works closley with various internal teams to improve internal processes.
• Oversees and validates critical dates an other lease terms related to lease renewals, lease cancellations, and lease expiration dates.
• Participating and/or leading department initiatives related to achieving portfolio goals.
• Protecting assets by ensuring payments are made timely to the appropriate parties and ensuring monteary defaults are resolved within the cure period.
• Oversees confirmation of documentation used for Estoppel processing and internal communications related to store closing announcements and defaults.
• Ensures compliance related to Certificate of Insurance and Landlord or Tenant sales reporting obligations.
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

• Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience

• Experience in legalese; reading and researching real estate documents.
• Have experience and aptitude with computers and databases.
• Be detail orientated, with a high degree of accuracy
• Have organizational skills and interpersonal skills
• Must possess good leasdership, commuication, and problem solving skills
