Job Summary:The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect delivers end-to-end BI solutions for internal business groups. The position works closely with business leaders to define requirements and provides subject matter expertise for other developers and analysts.
Scope of Responsibility:Provides support for Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives across the enterprise, supporting multiple Business Units.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:- Leads development and delivery of complex BI solutions that drive better understanding of business performance, improvement areas, and support strategic and tactical decisions to improve business growth across the enterprise.
- Develops data sources - tables, views, and data flows - to clean, transform, and organize data into intelligence that can be more effectively utilized in reports and dashboards.
- Performs hands-on, deep dive, data-driven analysis using technologies such as Snowflake, Python, SQL (Structured Query Language,) and Tableau to indentify and help solve.
- Works with business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and understand the intent of reporting requests to better deliver on expectations.
- Proactively identifies areas for improvement in report design, user experience flow, and underlying data structures.
- Administers the Tableau Online environment
- Acts as a subject matter expert for Tableau report development and data source design for other Business Intelligence developers and analysts
Education Experience: Bachelor's Level Degree
Years of Related Experience: 5-10 Years
