The Technical Account Manager is responsible for managing Wally's property management and vertical residence clients--including assisting the business development team during initial sales calls and presentations, installation guidance and support at time of purchase and post-installation account management. The Technical Account Manager is the primary source of contact for Wally's critical business clients in purchasing products and services, answering technical questions and resolving concerns.

Job Requirements

  • Provides thorough, reliable and timely assistance via phone and email to business clients to resolve technical questions are resolve concerns in a professional and friendly manner
  • Leads creation and installation of professional account and products via telephone, email and occasional on site visits
  • Assists Business Development team with sales presentations by providing technical insight on Wally's available products and services
  • Partners with business development team to develop additional sales leads and expand products and services purchases from current business clients
  • As needed, provides technical support to customer support associates in addressing and resolving technical questions from non-business prospective and current user
  • Creates and maintains onboarding, installation and support guides for business clients
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Computer skills, including proficiency using the Internet and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain technical products and services in a sales setting
  • Ability to explain technical products and features to non-technical prospective and current clients
  • Ability to create detailed documentation to assist clients with onboarding, installation and product use
  • Ability to periodically work flexible schedules based on business needs
  • Ability to maintain a professional image at all times
  • Frequent sitting, some standing and walking and bending and reaching as necessary

Preferred Skills
  • Previous account management or sales experience
  • Previous customer support experience in a technical field
  • Knowledge of the smart home space and experience with different products
