The Shop Your Way (SYW) - Member Experience Leader drives the Region's focus on profitable selling processes and behaviors and leverages Supply Chain/Inventory to improve end-to-end member experience. Identifies issues, proposes solutions, and oversees implementation relative to merchandise flow - including Distribution Center operations, transportation, inventory management, space planning, and the merchant organization.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Drives Region Trainer Team to build District Manager knowledge and application of processes that support both a selling culture and operational excellence
• Engages Region Trainer Team to identify regional/divisional management knowledge, skills gaps and develop actions plans to execute long-term solutions
• Drives embedment of the monthly coaching process and supports sales force effectiveness
• Ensures consistent execution of operational processes and internal business agreements
• Partners with clients, inventory, marketing, space planning and logistics to maximize sales and profits on a store-by-store basis
• Identifies regional/local grass roots sales opportunities and partners with inventory teams to maximize sales/margin potential in large stores by customizing assortments that meets the stores' needs i.e. urban assortments in metro stores, size bias opportunities, pack size
• Identifies regional/local grass roots sales opportunities and partners with inventory teams to maximize sales/margin potential in small stores by creating small store assortments and identifying additional opportunities
• Participates in pre- and post-seasonal reviews and provides feedback specifically related to income, geography, ethnicity and climate as well as inventory flow issues and opportunities
• Evaluates competitive landscape, keep abreast of industry trends and conducts market evaluations to constantly optimize sales and margin
• Attends all line review and provides ongoing fact based feedback on assorting and inventory opportunities
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of store management or inventory flow operations
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze information, identify root causes and develop/implement approved solutions
• Knowledge of seasonality of the business with the respective regions
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage and mentor team members, lead and influence cross functional working groups and achieve results
• Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of multi unit retail operations

Education Experience: Bachelor's Level Degree
Years of Related Experience: 5-10 Years
Driver's License Required: Yes
Travel Requirements: 75%
Age Requirement: 18+ (Except Under Certain Conditions)
