Job Summary:
The Store Support Supervisor assists the Store General Manager in providing an exceptional Member experience by engaging the Member and prioritizing the Member's needs over task. Maintains a Members First environment while growing sales by ensuring standards are met in the following areas: Merchandising, Merchandise & Sales Plan (MSP), Resets, Price Change Notifications (PCNs), Merchandise Pick Up (MPU, Web-To-Store (W2S), Fill Floor, Ready All Day/Ready All Night (RAD/RAN), and Mystery Shops.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
•Assists the Store General Manager with enhancing the Member experience in backroom and merchandise logistics, truck unload, product flow, stockroom optimization, and footwear execution at every Member touchpoint by ensuring all associates understand Member experience, selling and merchandising responsibilities.
•Assists the Store General Manager in setting clear expectations for associates’ performance and behavior, provides ongoing observations and coaching, and holds associates accountable for results. Initiates performance management processes (e.g., performance reviews, performance improvement plans) with approval and in partnership with the Store General Manager. Provides input to Store General Manager on hourly employment decisions. Accurately documents associate observations and conducts regular coaching sessions. Ensures associates are up‐to‐date on selling techniques, product knowledge, training and appropriate use of integrated retail tools to provide a WOW member experience. Assists associates in creating action plans for their development based on feedback from observations, store walks, member interactions and other sources, with approval from SGM. Provides needed support, resulting in a store culture where associates can be successful.
•Facilitates and monitors unloading Distribution Center trucks, moves merchandise to appropriate staging locations, and maintains stockrooms in a neat, orderly, and safe manner and executes all new receipt functions. Ensures proper placement of any inventory in stockroom and Handles W2S requests.
•Responsible for managing process execution, the backroom and office of the store. Drives operational results through effective process execution and member interactions.
•Versed in the benefits of Shop Your Way, the elements of a WOW experience, and possesses ability to sell the program to both associates and members.
•Adheres to merchandise and inventory protection standards and all shrink procedures and policies.
•Ensures effective inventory management. Facilitates completion of stock locator and related processes to keep track of merchandise. Facilitates shipping of merchandise for ship‐from‐store and returns processing.
•Acts as the Member advocate with store leadership and surfaces opportunities to improve the end to end member experience. Assists in resolving Member issues and overall Member satisfaction.
•Responsible for keeping the Footwear department ready all day and ensuring the sales floor is easy to shop, in stock, clean, signed and organized for customers. Sets footwear non‐promotional, promotional, and seasonal signing, including store‐wide and event signing; if the assigned team is designated to perform this activity.
• Adheres to the Store Support Supervisor scheduling requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
•Knowledge of store merchandising, operations, and retail management practices and procedures
•Strong leadership and organizational skills; retail supervisory experience preferred
•Ability to analyze information, identify root causes and develop/implement approved solutions
•Effective oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of internal and external team and members
•Skills in selecting, assessing, coaching and developing associates, preferably in a retail environment
•Proven ability to manage and mentor team members, lead and influence cross‐functional working groups and achieve results
•Working while standing for long periods of time. Lifting and holding bulky and large‐sized merchandise, up to 50 lbs.
•Reaching, stretching, grabbing, pushing, lifting, holding, twisting, bending, turning, walking, shifting, and engaging in other physical movements required by the job
•Retail Background preferred

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 1-2 Years
