JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for regional and national level inventory planning analytics using complex queries and multiple system data sets. Utilize
analytics to make inventory planning recommendations that impacts between 2000 -7500 Techs; $75M in inventory and up to $65M in
replenishments/year.
SUPERVISION:
Indirect- mentor less experienced Planner Analysts
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr Analyst, Inventory Planning develops reports from complex queries that can be deployed to assist planning analysts in procure
decisions. This position utilizes analyses to identify upstream and downstream process issues and assist in resolution.

Job Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generates complex SQL queries, MS Access databases or other analytic tools to extract data for ad hoc data analysis andongoing business operational reporting at a site, regional and national level.
• Creates queries and analyses to investigate and resolve systematic issues identified by Planner/Analysts.
• Develops tools in Access, Excel, and other systems for common use by planner/analysts.
• Oversees site, region and/or national planning, assorting and replenishment business managed rules definitions and maintenance
• Presents findings and makes recommendations from analysis. Works with management and business partners to resolve businessprocess issues, including providing input to improve or develop new work processes.
• Identifies & investigates assortment & replenishment issues between systems. Assists in User Acceptance Testing
• Monitors daily/weekly jobs, reviews system audit reports and resolves issues
• Communicates frequently and effectively with business partners including unit & regional, home office and Parts DistributionCenter (PDC) managers and associates
• Works with other Planner Analysts and Senior Analysts to evaluate and analyze national level data
• Mentors, develops & trains less experienced AnalystsJOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• Valid Driver License for the State of employment
• Up to 25% travel
• 18 years of age or olderREQUIRED SKILLS:
• 2 4 year business, supply chain, or analytical degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced Access, & Excel Required
• Previous SQL experience preferred
• Ability to manage projects and work with a multifunctional team with minimal supervision.
• Problem Solving Skills analysis, inquiry, fact finding, solution identification
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Minimum of 5 years + planning experience
• Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills- PowerPoint, and Word required, Visio and Project preferredPREFERRED SKILLS:
• Graduate Degree in analytical field
• One or more of the following Web development tools: .net, ASP Classic, JAVA Script, XML, LDAP, PHP
