SHC Softlines Business Unit is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Finance team with timely delivery of accurate financial results and analysis. The team is responsible for $3.5B in revenues for the Apparel, Footwear, Home, and Jewelry BUs.

The Senior Financial Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for the consolidation of financial results, financial planning, and financial analysis for the Softlines BU. This position will report into a Business Finance Manager and support various planning, forecasting and reporting cycles and provide insightful analysis.

Job Requirements

  • Supports the coordination, preparation, and presentation of strategic and financial plans and forecast updates for the BU
  • Manages daily/weekly/monthly planning, forecasting and reporting in conjunction with corporate timelines
  • Ensures corporate financial controls exist within the business
  • Engages business partners, data systems, and processes to gain insight into key performance drivers
  • Diagnoses variances to plan, forecast and last year, working to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Independently designs ad hoc analyses and models to help drive business results: gather the necessary data, summarize insights, and clearly present written and/or verbal conclusions to senior and executive leadership
  • Acts as a liaison between other Finance departments

  • Bachelor's of Science in Finance or Economics
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Financial Planning, Forecasting, Strategic Business Decision Making or Analysis
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial calculations
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills based upon financial and statistical results
  • Ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data
  • Excellent computer skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Hyperion Essbase, BI systems)
