Acts as Lead Project Merchandiser directing both Sears associates and Temporary Labor (from an outside third party) to ensure tasks are completed per schedule for both soft lines and hard lines while managing the payroll budget efficiently. Raising concerns and roadblocks to the Project Merchandiser Manager on the ability to complete tasks on time.

Job Requirements

• Supports the Project Merchandise Manager as directed • Manages Sears associates and third party temp labor
• Provides direction on individual store plans to adapt merchandising strategies
• Provides knowledge on how to break down and build fixtures, read plan-o-grams, and floor plans
• Communicates to the store , Market, and project teams
• Communicates with Project Merchandise Manager as the liaison to corporate
• Assists with the weekly recaps and payroll
• Ensures Member and Associate safety on the sales floor (Member service focused)
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
• Ability to multi-task with the capability to "complete the job at hand"
• Ability to efficiently coordinate and communicate with diverse internal and external groups
• Merchandising background with knowledge of safety regulations
• Strong people skills, motivational skills, team building and decision making
• Strong administrative skills, ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines
• Ability to identify problems and escalate
• Self-Starter and able to follow both written and oral direction
• Possesses a high sense of urgency in accomplishing goals and assignments

• Well versed in all Sears systems and processes
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Less than one year of related experience
• 18 years of age or older
