JOB SUMMARY:
For the WESTERN REGION the Regional Asset Protection Manager is responsible for managing shrink/excessive overage programs and practices, internal/external and margin investigations & safety programs in assigned region. Responsible for managing multiple formats (In-Home, PDC), (HVAC, Home Improvement, Call Centers, Home Services Franchise, Parts Direct and Monark Premium Home Appliances). The role is critical to successfully manage safety programs for ~3000 associates and ~2000 technicians.

Can be located in CA, WA, OR or similar.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as a member of the region leadership team working cross-functionally to align and achieve all priorities.
• Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises a team of Zone Managers within assigned Region. Provides day to day leadership of the team.
• Conducts assessments of Asset & Profit Protection and operational performance. Actively leads the Zone teams in the development and implementation of action plans to improve performance. Works Collaboratively with Business Leaders, Region Leaders, Regional Support to ensure plans meet needs of Members and overall Business.
• Leads global safety programs and initiates Region specific focuses to reduce safety liabilities
• Supports and directly impacts fleet safety in conjunction with fleet management
• Owns all investigations and the investigation process. Conducts high level investigations
• Owns the interview process and interview disposition. Conducts high level interviews
• Uses analytics to understand opportunities, trends, and make financial decisions
• Works through complex business issues effecting multiple businesses
• Own shortage control for their assigned businesses (Over & Shorts, Inventory, Lost Time & Company Assets)
• Initiates internal/external and margin erosion investigations and successfully partners with format leaders to correct all vulnerabilities that cause loses (Including third party vendors)
• Develops partnerships with local law enforcement
• Participates in Business Meetings & Financial Reviews
• Manages Critical Incidents and escalations for the region
• Supports and conducts ethics & WPV investigations
• Assists the region in forecasting variable insurance expense

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work with all levels of management in multi-functional departments. Must have direct experience in complex problem solving and demonstrate support multiple businesses/format support
  • WZ Certified (Wicklander-Zulawski)
  • Experience leading remote teams and resources.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to facilitate training for all levels of employees, supervision and management
  • Ability to conduct interviews/phone interviews and write reports
  • Ability to provide physical security
