Regional Contractor Manager
Candidates can be remote from Northeast Regional area.

The Region Contractor Manager is responsible for locating and engaging with 1099 Installation Contractors for their assigned region, which is approximately 400 independent contractors. This position will lead operational and program improvement initiatives including other service provider network integrations. This position manages independent contractor compliance as it relates to services performed and quality provided to our customers as well as partner directly with the broader Home Services team responsible for identifying future independent contractors and work through the necessary process to ensure efficient integration and compliance.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns responsibility for business decisions needed to identify gaps and potential problem areas with independent contractor coverage and footprint, availability, and performance, including metrics and KPI's such as customer satisfaction, reschedules, post services, and dispatch accept rate
  • Identifies adjustments to independent contractor profiles as needed to ensure coverage profile alignment to business needs and works directly with Region Operations Manager, Field Authorizations Director, and Area Operations Manager to address immediate business needs for coverage with recommendations based on the market
  • Identifies all coverage gaps and partners directly with recruiting sources to ensure timely resolution of existing and upcoming independent contractor needs
  • Evaluates business data and independent contractor feedback to recommend changes to labor and uses all appropriate market intelligence to ensure market labor rates are competitive
  • Engages with Area Operations Manager monthly to review quality scores and customer concerns to ensure accountability and the independent contractor meets Transform's quality standards
  • Implements and manages an engagement strategy to ensure communication and connectivity with current independent contractor base
  • Verifies and maintains Responsible for verification and maintenance of region independent contractor headcounts and monthly utilization
  • Ensures timely resolution of business issues and questions related to recruiting, coverage and compliance with independent contractors
  • Provides market intelligence on independent contractor rates to attract and retain. Engages with Director of Field Authorizations and Pricing Team on any needed market independent contractor rate adjustments
  • Engages with Product Management on area needs and effectiveness of cross dock locations to support efficient product distribution to independent contractors

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some graduate education
  • 3-4 years of related experience
  • Valid Driver License for the State of employment
  • Up to 50% travel
  • 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Thorough knowledge of the Home Improvement business systems and procedures
  • Applicable Contractor Licenses and Residential Construction Knowledge
  • Experience related to all of our product lines would be preferred. Windows, doors, roofing, siding, cabinet refacing, kitchens, flooring, bathrooms, garage doors, counter tops and HVAC
  • Experience managing remote contractors
