Accountable to assist with the identification, establishment and implementation of consistent standards and programs in support of the business mission and priorities. Responsible for management of department-wide initiatives (including, but not limited to: collaboration of IT and system needs for both the current stores and for the rapid growth of an additional stores, intranet development, equipment maintenance and tracking, daily maintenance and advancement) and operational issues (business management, execution of contracts, policies and procedures). Also responsible for managing the POS implementation hardware and software, upgrades and package design/specifications.

Job Requirements

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Investigates all issues/situations which need resolution and communication of solutions
  • Determines IT, system, operation process needs for current business model and growth initiatives
  • Acts as single point of contact for Hometown Stores Point of Sales systems
  • Acts as liaison between the Support Center and field personnel and store owners
  • Researches and investigates current programs, policies and procedures for opportunities of improvement for format, system changes, upgrades and requirements
  • Acts as the key resource of information, knowledge and support (internally and externally)
  • Manages applicable monthly reporting
  • Manages vendor relationships that support operational processes
  • Collaborates with cross-functional team to accomplish key objectives/initiatives
  • Supports the field support team members
  • Key staff member and reports directly to the Director, Operations
  • Interacts with team on a daily basis
