Provides “World Class” member service by surprising and delighting our members every day. The mygofer associate greets and assists members with the use of the mygofer website, including the set-up of scheduled orders, special instructions along with the basic ordering process. Handles member order fulfillment and pick-up, in-coming phone calls and any other member contact.

Job Requirements

• Ensures customer care and selling #1 priority
• Interacts with customers to determine and meet customer needs, provides assistance and support and ensures a positive shopping experience
• Follows mygofer procedures efficiently and effectively pulls and packs merchandise in an organized manner to fulfill customer orders
• Meets daily hours sales and customer deliver goals established for the department
• Knows store layout, services and locations of merchandise and tours area of responsibility and prioritizes jobs as needed. Assists in identifying and resolving issues
• Assists in training fellow associates in mygofer services, processes and tools
• Utilizes available reporting to help maximize sales and reduce shrink
• Demonstrates product knowledge of all product lines
• Ensures promotional programs are maintained, signed and replenished for entire event
• Recognizes and appreciates individual contributions/talents and fosters growth Supports team accomplishments
• Possesses a “can-do” attitude; enthusiastically identifies opportunities; creatively solves problems and executes with speed and purpose
• Values diverse people; shares ideas, communicates honestly and respects others; collaborates, debates and unites with others in order to develop the best ideas
• Displays strong skill set in use of Remote Maintenance Unit (RMU); utilizes RMU to track merchandise in the stockroom
• Displays knowledge in operation of point of sale (POS) system
• Understands the proper and approved way to organize the backroom in order to maximize production and organization
• Produces a Pick List Report to pull merchandise to efficiently and accurately fulfill orders from the stockroom
• Demonstrates a good understanding of the importance of correct unit integrity and pricing accuracy Communicates issues when found to maintain site accuracy and prevent waste
• Performs other duties as assigned
• One or two years of retail experience or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, verbal and arithmetic skills
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, typically a minimum of 20 lbs but could be as much as 100 lbs
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Repetitive bending, lifting, stretching and reaching
• Basic knowledge of web based systems and tools
