The Mgr, Sales Development is responsible for driving a business unit plan by working to implement business strategies and ensuring those strategies can be executed within retail stores. This role will manage brand execution within all stores by producing tools including visual guidance, signage, fixture brochures and other documentation that outline monthly and seasonal presentations of Sears products in the store environment. The Sales Presentation Manager will act as a resource, project manager, and communicator of information to manage brand consistency and engage customers in a more compelling manner to increase sales.

Job Requirements

  • Partners with Sales Development Manager to provide feedback, input, and concerns to ensure business strategy can be implemented the store level and provide value for our customers
  • Ensures coordination and execution of activities at store level and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure objectives are implemented. Provides feedback and tracking of results to applicable stakeholders
  • Develops subject matter expertise on relevant business unit success metrics and partners with the Sales Development Manager and cross-functional team to provide sales execution reporting insights and assists on developing a plan to improve business performance; Monitors implemented plans against success metrics and identifies gaps/course corrections at the store level
  • Develops and disseminates the Monthly Sales Planner (MSP)
  • Develops and coordinates client s communication and direction to the field (including Pebble, conference calls, business integration calls, RVP meetings, webinars, WLPs, etc.) ; partners with Communication team to ensure the communications are consistent between businesses, and that they are timely and easy for store associates to understand, and assists with follow-up on execution as necessary
  • Demonstrates a passion to seek, share, and adopt best practices from both in and outside of the company and acts as a champion for change.
  • Project management expert; ability to meet deadlines, establish clear priorities quickly and begin projects to completion on time and within budget. Has a proven track record of working effectively under pressure handling a heavy workload.
