Shop Your Way is growing significantly, is now looking to hire experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical and innovative Program Managers to support our Business Development team. The PM will be responsible for team operations and member experience, and must ensure all business goals are met. Internally, this leader will work with functions that cut across the organization, including technology, marketing, operations, member services, and analytics to create a great member experience for our program. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical and detail-oriented, and possess superior interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to deliver results with an extreme bias for action. Your success in this role will be highly visible to the organization, putting you in a great position to build your career. This role will be based in Hoffman Estates, IL.

As a Program manager, you will work with product and technical teams located around the globe, anticipating bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, prioritize to ensure support for the most critical project deliverables, and balance business needs versus constraints.

Job Requirements

  • Manager Program Management must have the ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into digestible pieces, develop detailed beta testing specifications, then deliver them in a timely manner – as well as helping the team develop the skills, tools, and processes to successfully deliver multiple projects in a high velocity environment.
  • This role requires working closely with business and engineering leaders within Shop Your Way, Sears Holdings, and external partners, to identify defects in products based on data and qualitative feedback, recommend product improvements, and maintain a high bar for the products and experiences we deliver to members.
  • Attention to detail and strong program management skills are critical, but to be successful you'll also need to think strategically, defining processes that allow beta testing to scale, planning a roadmap for improvements, and defining and advocating for technical capabilities to enable the program.
  • You will lead high visibility and high impact programs collaborating with various teams across Shop Your Way and SHC.
  • You will own regular communication with senior leadership on the quality of our products, progress, and readiness for GTM.
  • The ideal candidate should have thrived and succeeded in delivering complex programs with multiple stakeholders in a very high growth environment.
  • You should be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence.
  • You should have keen business sense, a strong understanding of technology, and exceptional program management skills.
  • Qualified candidates have experience developing and leading program or project management teams, defining programs, mapping product requirements to validation criteria, and leading multiple simultaneous large-scale programs.
  • The projects supported by the team have significant impact, technical ambiguity and complexity, and visibility.
  • You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop the vision and roadmap for the team and define opportunities to achieve greater scale, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
