The Channel Communications Manager is responsible for developing the strategic Channel Support communication and the tools that will facilitate the selling of Home Services Solutions through the Sears and Kmart retail channels, On-line, Call Centers, and external channels as developed. This position works in concert with a cohesive group, including Account Management, Product Development,Underwriting, Product Administration, and Analysis, as well as with leaders of sales channels and business units to ensure appropriate focus is placed on product delivery, training, and compliance through selling channels. Facilitated training will be conducted for key groups, such as Store Manager Academy.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Takes a leadership role in the development of training content, customer- and associate-facing sales tools, and all material necessary for compliance to regulatory requirements
• Provides guidance and thought leadership to the field teams supporting Home Services Solutions in the retail channel, On-line, and in Call Centers
• Works with Retail Operations, Communications, and Retail Training to integrate the selling of Home Services Solutions in the retail selling process
• Analyzes business performance and develops the necessary selling and training aids
• Develops and communicates Channel Programs to ensure sales compliance
Works with Service Contracts team to prepare and launch tests associated with home services solutions pricing and features
• Serves as a liaison across all channels
• Participates in the development of and the communication of Promotional Programs

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• 18 years of age or older

Minimum five (5) years experience preparing professional, impactful business materials, such as program communications, associate training content, program reference tools (i.e., brochures), and compliance requirements
• Ability to deliver end products with an extremely high degree of accuracy
• Entrepreneurial and business development skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to affect change within a large company
• Problem solving and analytic skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong general business knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

PREFERRED SKILLS:
