Based in Hoffman Estates, the Manager Paid Social Media is responsible for building and optimizing the social media presence for Sears and Kmart, leveraging best practices to drive both organic and paid engagement. The Manager Social Media is responsible for the constantly changing trends in social media and social networking. This position utilizes social networking technology, new media and online community resources to promote Sears and Kmart to members and future members. This position drives the success of social networking objectives, strategies, products, etc. through effective marketing planning, implementation, and constant assessment of impact. We need someone that is experienced with analyzing social media performance including “paid social” and has a solid understanding of the current digital marketing landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities
() Develops and implements a strategic plan for social and community networking, and implement the coordination efforts within various departments
() Work with our social marketing budget, leveraging advanced targeting tactics to reach intended audiences while meeting KPI targets.
() Work with 3rd party analytics team to help develop robust attribution models and dashboards that clearly demonstrate the correlation between spend, acquisition, and retention.
() Evaluates SHC's social audiences, understands their needs, and determines when and how to communicate with them.
() Develops and manages viral marketing campaigns, and maintains presence on social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Plus and others

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
() Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of professional social media marketing experience at a consumer product company, media company, or marketing agency
() Strong communication skills
() Strong project management skills
() Demonstrated success in developing, planning and implementing global digital marketing and social media strategies
() Hands-on experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics), Social CRMs (Spredfast), Business Manager, Power Editor, Promoted Pins
() Must be self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, flexible, and reliable
() Must be a team player, willing to support at times, lead other times
