The Sales Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing in-store sales generating programs and prospects that will improve the client's (brand/business) profitability and the customer experience. The Sales Development Manager will be an integral, and strategic, member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing clear plans that can be transformed into executable plans in the Sears store to align performance results with business strategies.

Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining B2B sales programs for Sears stores that improve performance and customer experience for multiple assigned Business Units.

Job Requirements


• Partners with cross functional team on the development and implementation of business strategies in the Sears stores
• Understands BU and Sear Store priorities to ensure programs are developed that deliver the greatest value to the BU, stores, and customers
• Develops, recommends and presents business generating or improvement proposals based on analysis, examining risks and
potential improvement to business, financial, evaluating all options and resources to successfully implement
• Identifies opportunities by researching industry and Sears practices, trends and related events that will improve sales and market growth

• Ensures programs are developed that encompass and align with Sears strategic priorities, vision and culture
• Anticipates and reports market and business trends, and assists the Sr. Dir, Sales on developing a plan to improve business performance
• Provides input and sales expertize to cross-functional team to review implemented plans against success measures,identifies
necessary gaps/course correction opportunities and report progress/updates/recommendations to business leaders and partnersin an effort
• Partners with the Sales Presentation Manager to develop communication and implementation plans
• Conduct regular store and competitor visits to stay abreast of current and emerging operations
• Ensures appropriate resources and focus are applied to projects to maximize their potential
• Build strong relationship with business partners throughout the organization
• Function as a voice of the customer and associate to provide insights and influence projects


• Bachelors Degree
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Valid Driver License for the State of employment
• Up to 25% travel
• 18 years of age or older
