The Manager Process Improvement is an integral member of the Sears LEAN Team. You'll drive major Corporate process improvement initiatives to achieve increased margin, lower costs, increased Member satisfaction, and streamlined business operations.
Job Summary:
Apply Lean & Six Sigma methodologies with teams and individuals across the organization to facilitate improvements in management, execution, and control of business processes in a highly-matrixed organizational model.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead Kaizen events – Facilitate cross-functional groups in discussion & documentation of business processes, pain points, and potential solutions; Help define future state processes and management metrics.
- Develop detailed business process maps – Document as-is and to-be business process steps and owners, work flow, potential failure modes, business controls and metrics.
- Perform data mining and analysis – Access data from computer systems and perform analysis to determine root cause of process failures, identify sources of waste and excess cost, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop implementation plans – Develop plans for full implementation of process changes across the business including management controls & data reporting.
- Lead cross functional teams on project planning, implementation and milestone tracking; Provide ongoing status reports to Executive management.
