The Manager, Pricing Strategy analyzes various strategic questions utilizing unique large datasets. This position leverages data analysis tools and techniques, on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis, to prepare analytics, document models and automate processes which have a direct impact on a multi-billion dollar business.

Job Requirements


JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinates with the Buyers, Inventory, Pricing team on strategy and execution of pricing initiatives
  • Responsible for ensuring that the data used by the Pricing team is reliable, timely and accessible
  • Identifies opportunities for pricing reporting tools and collaborates with Information Technology to automate and execute
  • Designs, implements and automates modeling and analysis procedures on existing and experimentally created data
  • Increases pace and confidence of learning by combining state of the art technology and statistical methods; provides expertise and assistance in integrating advanced analytics into ongoing business processes.
  • Develops data pulls, producing concise conclusions from raw data in a clean, well-structured and easily maintainable format
  • Performs scheduled and ad-hoc data driven statistical analysis and projects, supporting existing processes
  • Performs enhancements and defect resolution on an ongoing basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in economics, statistics, or computer science
  • Highly skilled in problem solving
  • Superior Access and Excel skills, basic PowerPoint skills, as well as familiarity with other database standards and protocols.
  • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment, welcoming push back on conclusions and inferences
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines
