The Online Business Unit (OBU) Finance Team is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic and hard-working Business Finance manager who is ready to join a fast paced environment with the mind set to learn and contribute quickly and improve OBU profitability.

Job Requirements

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Manage all of the Online Business Units SG&A expenses including but not limited to:
    o Month End Closes and accruals
    o Corporate Intercompany Allocations
    o 12 month Forecasting
    o Annual Planning
    o Ad Hoc Expense projects looking for ways to streamline or eliminate unnecessary costs.
  • Provides regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to help drive business results
  • Works with the Business Unit Finance team in aligning on decisions and recommendations
  • Partners in business reviews with the working teams and senior management
    Acts as a liaison between other Finance departments and the assigned business
  • Manage the OBU Capital Plan and Forecast including but not limited to:
    o Monthly Capital Forecast
    o Quarterly Capital Accruals
    o Corporate Capital Planning
  • Manage and move any Expense or Capital requests through the appropriate approval process which includes but no limited to:
    o Individual Business Case Reviews with the respective Business owners.
    o Weekly Expense Triage Meetings.
    o Capital Committee (CAPCON) Presentation Reviews and Presentations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelors of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum of 5 of years' experience in Finance or accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial calculations
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills based upon financial and statistical results
• Ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Hyperion Essbase, Access)

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Master's degree in related field
• CPA or CFA
