The Human Resource Specialist supports the strategic objectives of Sears Holdings Company by providing human resources support
and analysis to all levels within the Region. The role requires close interaction with store management teams, Regional Human
Resource Managers, and field leaders.The Human Resource Specialist supports the strategic objectives of Sears Holdings Company by providing human resources support
and analysis to all levels within the Region. The role requires close interaction with store management teams, Regional Human
Resource Managers, and field leaders.

This position can be housed at our Corporate office in Hoffman Estates, IL or at any of the Sears stores or Sears Auto Centers within the West Region (AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, KS, LA, MO, MS, MT, NM, NV, OK, TN, TX, WA).

Job Requirements

• Enters all salaried human resource transactions into the Transaction Processing Center (TPC), such as terminations, demotions,
pay changes, data corrections, position changes, leaves of absence, people tree changes and follows up to ensure each
transaction entered has been captured in the system
• Addresses salaried payroll issues including; overpayments, money due to associates on leave or those separated from the
company
• "Reviews and verifies hourly wage changes outside the compensation grid; verifies correct amount for change and obtains
approval"
• Processes salaried promotions, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and forwarded to the Human Resource Support
Center (including salary approval)
• Assists stores with HR questions and concerns (e.g. fixing pay, following up on leaves of absence, questions on benefits, general
store HR questions)
• Provides on-going reporting for the Regions
• Project management of human resource related initiatives to support the business unit needs at store level
• Monitors HR related Help Tickets submitted by the stores and responds in a timely manner
• Proficient in HR policies and procedures, providing policy-related guidance to store and field associates
• Coordinates and supports the Regional HR Manager with hourly and salaried Transition Pay Plan (TPP) requests
• Processes all relocation moves for approval
• Performs other duties as assigned
