This position is responsible for net revenue growth of approximately $500M during the first year in the role with continuing growth over the next 5 years to become a $1B company while also accelerating profitable EBITDA growth at a rate faster than revenue. Responsible for building a tenured sales force and increasing sales performance throughout the 46 sales offices nationwide.

The DVP, Home Improvement Sales & Revenue Management is responsible for strategic & tactical execution of the sales strategy to grow profits & revenue for the business. In addition, this leader will be responsible for creating new revenue streams working in collaboration across Home Improvement's product, marketing & support services functions. The Sales & Revenue leader is responsible for managing the mid-term and long-term activities, strategies and policies of a national sales function along with strategizing and interfacing on a day to day basis with the business. The leader oversees National, Regional and District sales performance, has direct Profit and Loss responsibility, drives efficiency and expense improvement, is responsible for meeting sales rep staffing capacity needs, executing field training programs, performance management, leader development, compliance, quality and best in class member experience. This position is accountable for the attainment of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets.

• Creates, plans, implements and measures the sales strategies in accordance with the overall organizational business objectives. Develops and implements tactical plans to achieve established goals and objectives / Holds sales team accountable for results
and coaches to performance
• Liaisons with marketing to find new sources for generating revenue. Champions an ongoing renewal and refinement of the Home Improvement products and HVAC repair services creative and brand positioning. Develops new 3rd party relationships to externalize revenue growth reach to other customer bases
• Ability to effectively lead a team of senior level field sales and operations managers to exceptional results while assuming the role of player/coach who will be a difference maker who can create a clear vision, define a plan, motivate a team to action, lead change and remove obstacles to performance, and increase the velocity & performance of sales team
• Ensures internal review practices, audits and ensures training practices are in place to drive compliance in all areas such as member and vendor contracts, wage and hour laws, general employment laws
• Manages a Profit and Loss (P&L) statement to ensure company assets are managed and leveraged in a manner that maximizes profits while ensuring associates and culture are developed and supported.
• Executes cross-functional (Talent and Integrated Solutions) initiatives associated with change management, while holding sales team accountable for achieving goals & objectives / Fosters cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement within
local market
• Performs appropriate control reviews to ensure conformance to company policies and manages aging exception reports
• Generate new business development opportunities to materially grow revenues and profits. Identifies product development, distribution channel management and customer service opportunities to meet sales objectives. Seeks out new ways to deliver
messaging, such as mobile platforms, video and social media
• Works closely with Finance to forecast, deliver and solve for delivering on the monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets (revenue and profit) for Home Improvements. Develops an integrated plan that requires new business pursuits, expanding
business performance within existing assets, and seeks opportunities to enhance profitability
• Focuses on the customer to improve the buying and service experience, growing market share through referral and repeat purchases.
• Partners with direct & indirect reports, to develop plans of actions to meet and exceed the organizations goals and objectives. Develops metrics to measure organizational success against these goals and objectives, and measures the performance of direct reports and matrix report staffs
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• Over 10 years of related experience
• Up to 25% travel
• 18 years of age or older

• 10+ years proven success in a sales leadership position. Must have prior experience leading a Multi-Region P&L upwards of $500M
• Executive presence with a strong ability to interact with senior leaders
• Experience in building partner marketing relationships and programs
• Strong track record of leading high performing, sales teams, with Fortune 500/1000 companies
• Promotes success in terms of team first ; Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Successful Profit and Loss (P&L) performance in the last 3 years with proven growth of both revenues and profits
• Highly collaborative, able to work effectively across departments and levels
• An analytic, strategic and curious mind with excellent problem solving abilities
• Proven experience building and/or transforming a business---Entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; direct with feedback
• Mentor/leader that can motivate and influence the team; demonstrates excitement and passion
• Proven ability to influence matrix and internal/external partners and build high performing teams
• Strong competency in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• High aptitude and utilization of MS Office products

• Prior experience in the Home Improvement Industry Preferred
• MBA Preferred
